The rich

The rich rule over the poor,
and the borrower is servant to the lender...
Proverbs 22:7

....So, I get the most interesting spam. And I've started to notice, even the spam is starting to look creepy, apocalyptic and supernatural. The above biblical quote was taken from the following website, which I received span from. Check this out!

yes, that's right. Its a Christian debt relief copany. So, I'm just venturing a guess here, but this seeming desperate grab at money (Catholics maybe?) seems to bring up ideas of religious banks, and a rejuvination of religous rule. Look at the proverb. Then think about the company. In debt? We'll lend you money! Then, you'll be in debt with us! And then, We'll own YOU!

And then there was this Spam. Hey Dr. Murk, you'll love this one! Billed in the subject line as "The subliminal mind software they tried to ban!"

'Zaps your mind with powerful commands'???

People go out of their way to avoid that kind of thing...

Why do I have a suspicion that they're both the same kind of person?

Two quotes:
"Efficieny and progress are ours once more..."
And one that I know you'll enjoy...
"Ye have much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none wram; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
"Thus saith the Lord of hosts, Consider your ways."

You only set yourself up for dissapointment when you expect organized religion to follow the Gospels.
