If God is Real…

….If God is real (and for this post, we’re talking about the Christian Catholic God), then everything that happens is his will, correct? He makes the world spin, light bulbs turn on, and my fingers type these lines (and my brain form these thoughts). Ok, ok, free will. Right. But, no, its Gods will.

So, if god exists, and things happen according to his will, what the hell are all the believers worried about? Its either his will, or if not, free will that will send others to hell.

US Rep Katherine Harris stated that separating religion and politics is "wrong because God is the one who chooses our rulers."

Yet, she also said "If you're not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin,"

So, which is it? Are we choosing the rulers, or is God? These far right bible bashers need to get their heads out of their asses and come up with a straight story that makes sense. Because they are confusing the hell out of me. Maybe that’s their plan, the whole dis and mis information. Just like politics. Hmmmmm…..

Oh crap. Hobbs is now quoting idiots.

Have you ever read some real Christian theology?

Try Thomas Merton.

You are assuming Catholics think everything is God's will. In fact, it's quite the contrary.

Read your enemy first, then make your broad indictments.

you always read too far into things!

Quoth Hobbs: "….If God is real (and for this post, we’re talking about the Christian Catholic God), then everything that happens is his will, correct?"

So, how are your 'readers' supposed to read this? Sure seems like a broad generalization to me...
